An offline electrical calculator and reference for electricians — recommends the right wire size, voltage drop, and circuit breaker for the job, with NEC 2023 reference tables built in. Works without internet.

Wire & Load ("we," "our," or "the App") is an iOS utility that recommends the proper electrical conductor size (AWG / mm²) for a given current, run length, and conductor material, computes the voltage drop, and suggests the matching standard circuit breaker. The App also provides offline reference tables for AWG sizes, ampacity, and motor starting currents. This Privacy Policy explains how Wire & Load handles information when you use it.
Wire & Load is built on a privacy-first principle: everything happens on your device. The App does not have a backend, has no servers, contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising frameworks, no tracking libraries, and never transmits any of your information to us or any third party.
Wire & Load does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:
Apple's App Store privacy nutrition label for Wire & Load reads "Data Not Collected".
The following information is stored only on your iPhone or iPad, never transmitted:
None of this information leaves your device. You can wipe all of it at any time by deleting the App.
When you download Wire & Load or purchase the lifetime unlock, Apple may collect information as described in Apple's Privacy Policy. This includes purchase records, app-download metadata, and optional crash reports if you have opted in to share them with developers. We do not have access to any of this information beyond an anonymized confirmation that a purchase took place — and even that confirmation is verified locally on your device.
Wire & Load requests no permissions. The App does not access your camera, microphone, photo library, location, contacts, calendar, health data, motion sensors, notifications, or any other sensitive iOS resource. All calculations happen entirely in the App's own memory.
All calculations and reference data are bundled inside the App and work entirely offline. The reference tables (NEC 2023 Table 310.16 ampacity, NEC 240.6(A) breaker sizes, ASTM B258 AWG cross-sections, NEMA MG-1 motor starting multipliers) are loaded from a local in-app data store at launch and held in memory. No network call is ever required to use the calculator or browse the reference tables.
The only time Wire & Load contacts the network is when it talks to Apple's StoreKit servers, and only in these specific situations:
These requests go directly to Apple — not to us — and are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. The App makes no other network requests of any kind.
Wire & Load offers a single non-consumable in-app purchase: Lifetime Access (USD 1.99). The App is free to use for 7 days from first launch; purchasing the lifetime unlock removes the 7-day limit permanently.
Wire & Load is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages, though the App is designed for licensed electricians, technicians, and informed professionals. The App does not collect any data from any user regardless of age, and contains no advertising, social features, account system, or external links beyond this Privacy Policy and our support email.
Wire & Load does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or social-network SDKs. The only external service touched by the App is operated by Apple:
No reverse geocoding, no map tiles, no telemetry endpoints, no remote configuration — nothing.
Because Wire & Load does not transmit any of your information off your device, there is no risk of a server-side data breach exposing your data through us. Your preferences, trial timestamp, and purchase status remain under your control on your device, protected by iOS's standard sandboxing and device encryption.
You have complete control over the App and your data:
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top. If a future version of the App introduces any data-collection features (analytics, accounts, sync, telemetry), we will provide notice through the App or the App Store listing before that change takes effect, and update Apple's privacy nutrition label accordingly.
Wire & Load is available globally and is localized in English, Spanish, Japanese, French, German, and Portuguese. Because the App does not collect or transmit any data, there are no cross-border data transfers and no region-specific privacy considerations beyond what is described in this policy. Where local law (GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, etc.) grants you additional rights with respect to personal data, those rights are effectively satisfied by the fact that we hold no personal data about you.

By installing and using Wire & Load, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Wire & Load grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Standard End User License Agreement.
Wire & Load presents calculations and reference tables derived from publicly available electrical-engineering standards, including but not limited to:
All numerical values are pre-loaded in the App; no internet connection is required to perform any calculation or look up any value. The reference data was prepared with care, but no claim is made that the App or its data are free from error. Always cross-check results against your local electrical code and a current edition of the applicable standard.
Wire & Load is free to use for 7 days from your first launch, with full access to every feature. After 7 days, you may purchase the lifetime unlock (USD 1.99) to continue using the App. The lifetime purchase is one-time, non-consumable, non-recurring, and non-refundable except where required by law or by Apple's App Store refund policies.
Wire & Load provides general reference information based on commonly-used electrical engineering tables and formulas. Results are estimates and do not constitute professional engineering advice. The App is intended as a reference aid for trained professionals; it is not a substitute for a licensed electrician, a qualified electrical engineer, or the electrical code applicable in your jurisdiction.
You agree that you will:
The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.

You agree to use Wire & Load only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
