The Application is designed to work completely offline and locally on your iOS device. We do not maintain any cloud databases or external servers for tracking user data.
- Tinnitus Pitch Calibration: Any frequency values (Hz) mapped during the Pitch Matcher calibration process are stored solely in your device’s local secure storage (UserDefaults). This data is used only to operate the real-time notch filter in the audio player.
- Audio Source Selection: Preferences regarding internal sound choices (white noise, rain, ocean, etc.) or imported user audio files are held entirely on the device.
- Sleep Timer Configurations: Timer preferences are strictly transient and local to your current session.
3. Local Storage
All application settings, calibration states, and simulation properties are stored locally using Apple’s standard iOS storage mechanisms. Removing the Application from your device will result in the permanent deletion of this data from your local system storage.
4. In-App Purchases & Payments
Tinnitus Cure uses the Apple In-App Purchase system for unlocking the Premium Tier ($3.99 USD) after the 5-day free trial period. Apple manages all transactions, payments, and billing details directly. We do not have access to, nor do we collect, process, or store your credit card details, bank accounts, or Apple ID credentials.
5. Third-Party Services
The Application does not integrate any third-party advertising, analytics software, tracking SDKs, or external marketing APIs. Your interaction patterns remain 100% private to your device.
6. Security
Since your information is stored entirely within the secure sandbox environment of iOS on your local hardware, its security matches the underlying device passcode and system level encryption provided by Apple.
