Tinnitus Tuner ("we," "our," or "the App") is an iOS application that generates real-time audio tones and noise to help tinnitus sufferers find a masking sound that matches their tinnitus frequency. This Privacy Policy explains how Tinnitus Tuner handles information when you use it.
Tinnitus Tuner is built on a privacy-first principle: everything happens on your device. The App does not have a backend, has no servers, contains no analytics SDKs, and never transmits any of your information to us or any third party.

Tinnitus Tuner is available globally and is localized in English, Korean, Japanese, and Chinese (Simplified). Because the App does not collect or transmit any data, there are no cross-border data transfers and no region-specific privacy considerations beyond what is described in this policy.

Tinnitus Tuner grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Standard End User License Agreement.
Tinnitus Tuner is an audio synthesis tool designed to help tinnitus sufferers find and play a masking sound that matches their tinnitus frequency for relief and better sleep. The App is intended for personal, private use only. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or cure any medical condition.
If you experience persistent or worsening tinnitus, sudden hearing loss, or other auditory symptoms, please consult a qualified healthcare professional. The App is not a substitute for medical advice.
Tinnitus Tuner includes a built-in volume limiter that caps audio output at approximately –6 dB for hearing protection. Despite this safeguard, you are responsible for using the App at a comfortable and safe listening level. Prolonged exposure to any sound — even at moderate volume — may affect your hearing. Do not use the App at high volume for extended periods.
Tinnitus Tuner provides a 7-day free trial from the date of first launch. After the trial period, you may purchase the permanent unlock (USD 2.99) to continue using the App. The unlock is one-time, non-consumable, non-recurring, and non-refundable except where required by law or by Apple's App Store refund policies.
The trial period is tracked locally on your device. Deleting and reinstalling the App resets the trial. We reserve the right to change this model in a future version of the App.
Tinnitus Tuner is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or effective for any particular individual. Results may vary. The App is an audio relaxation and masking aid and makes no medical claims.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tinnitus Tuner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the App — including but not limited to hearing damage resulting from misuse or circumvention of the built-in volume limiter.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
