1. Privacy First Philosophy
Hot Flash Logger (潮热日记) was built with privacy as its primary core value. We believe that your health and symptoms information is deeply personal. For this reason, the application operates 100% offline on your iOS device.
2. Information Collection & Use
The app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. Specifically:
- Symptom Logs: All inputs (timestamps, sweating severity, notes, and trigger tags) are stored locally in Apple's SwiftData local persistent sandbox database. We have no access to this data.
- No User Accounts: You do not need to register, provide an email address, or link any external social media profiles to use the app.
- No Analytical Trackers: We do not include third-party SDKs, analytics systems, or diagnostic tracers inside the application.
3. Payment & Subscription Data
All transactions, including the $1.99 Lifetime Premium Unlock, are processed and validated securely by Apple App Store via StoreKit. We do not receive, store, or process credit card numbers or account payment credentials.
4. Data Sharing and Export
You have full ownership of your data. The application includes a PDF report generator allowing you to compile your symptom records. This PDF is rendered locally in memory and is only shared when you choose to export it (via email, AirDrop, etc.). No data is automatically synced to the cloud.
5. Changes to This Privacy Policy
Since the application is purely local, this privacy policy will not change in ways that affect your data privacy. If we release future updates requiring changes, they will be updated here and listed in the App Store update log.
