Stutter Helper ("we," "our," or "the App") is an iOS utility designed to help people who stutter practise fluency techniques. The App provides a metronome for paced speaking, vowel prolongation drills, a voice recorder with slow-playback so you can review your speech, and guided breathing exercises. This Privacy Policy explains how Stutter Helper handles information when you use it.
Stutter Helper is built on a privacy-first principle: everything happens on your device. The App does not have a backend, has no servers, contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising frameworks, no tracking libraries, and never transmits any of your information to us or any third party.
Stutter Helper does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:

The following information is stored only on your iPhone or iPad, never transmitted:
None of this information leaves your device. You can wipe all of it at any time by deleting the App.
When you download Stutter Helper, Apple may collect information as described in Apple's Privacy Policy. This includes app-download metadata and optional crash reports if you have opted in to share them with developers. We do not have access to any of this information.
Stutter Helper requests only one permission:
The App does not access your camera, photo library, location, contacts, calendar, health data, motion sensors, notifications, or any other sensitive iOS resource.
All features — the metronome, vowel practice, voice recording and playback, and breathing exercises — work entirely offline. No network call is ever required to use any feature of the App.
Stutter Helper makes no network requests. The App is fully offline. It does not contact any server — ours or anyone else's — at any time.
Stutter Helper is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. The App does not collect any data from any user regardless of age, and contains no advertising, social features, account system, or external links beyond this Privacy Policy and our support email.
Stutter Helper does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or social-network SDKs. No telemetry endpoints, no remote configuration, no external services of any kind.
Because Stutter Helper does not transmit any of your information off your device, there is no risk of a server-side data breach exposing your data through us. Your voice recordings and preferences remain under your control on your device, protected by iOS's standard sandboxing and device encryption.
You have complete control over the App and your data:
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top. If a future version of the App introduces any data-collection features (analytics, accounts, sync, telemetry), we will provide notice through the App or the App Store listing before that change takes effect, and update Apple's privacy nutrition label accordingly.
Because the App does not collect or transmit any data, there are no cross-border data transfers and no region-specific privacy considerations beyond what is described in this policy. Where local law (GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, etc.) grants you additional rights with respect to personal data, those rights are effectively satisfied by the fact that we hold no personal data about you.

By installing and using Stutter Helper, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Stutter Helper grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Standard End User License Agreement.
Stutter Helper is a self-practice tool. It does not provide medical, therapeutic, or clinical advice. The techniques offered (paced speech, vowel prolongation, slow-playback review, breathing exercises) are common fluency strategies, but the App is not a substitute for professional speech-language therapy.
You agree that you will:
The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the publisher of Stutter Helper shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of, inability to use, or reliance on the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
You agree to use Stutter Helper only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
