OrthoK Planner ("we," "our," or "the App") is an iOS utility that helps parents track their child's orthokeratology contact lens wear sessions, cleaning routines, and eye symptoms. The App provides daily reminders, history charts, and exportable PDF reports. This Privacy Policy explains how OrthoK Planner handles information when you use it.
OrthoK Planner is built on a privacy-first principle: everything happens on your device. The App does not have a backend, has no servers, contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising frameworks, no tracking libraries, and never transmits any of your information to us or any third party.
OrthoK Planner does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:

The following information is stored only on your iPhone, never transmitted:

When you download OrthoK Planner or purchase the full access unlock, Apple may collect information as described in Apple's Privacy Policy. This includes purchase records, app-download metadata, and optional crash reports if you have opted in to share them with developers. We do not have access to any of this information beyond an anonymized confirmation that a purchase took place — and even that confirmation is verified locally on your device.

The App does not access your camera directly, microphone, location, contacts, calendar, health data, or motion sensors.
All data entry, history charts, calendar views, cleaning checklists, and PDF report generation work entirely offline. No network call is ever required to use any feature of the App. Your wear data, symptom logs, and photos remain on your device at all times.
The only time OrthoK Planner contacts the network is when it talks to Apple's StoreKit servers, and only in these specific situations:
These requests go directly to Apple — not to us — and are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. The App makes no other network requests of any kind.
OrthoK Planner offers a single non-consumable in-app purchase: Full Access (USD 3.99). The App is free to use for 7 days from first launch; purchasing the full access unlock removes the 7-day limit permanently.
OrthoK Planner is designed for parents of children aged 8–18 who use orthokeratology lenses. The App does not collect any data from any user regardless of age, and contains no advertising, social features, account system, or external links beyond this Privacy Policy and our support email.
OrthoK Planner does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or social-network SDKs. The only external service touched by the App is operated by Apple:
No remote servers, no telemetry endpoints, no remote configuration — nothing.
Because OrthoK Planner does not transmit any of your information off your device, there is no risk of a server-side data breach exposing your data through us. Your wear sessions, symptom logs, photos, preferences, and purchase status remain under your control on your device, protected by iOS's standard sandboxing and device encryption.
You have complete control over the App and your data:
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top. If a future version of the App introduces any data-collection features (analytics, accounts, sync, telemetry), we will provide notice through the App or the App Store listing before that change takes effect, and update Apple's privacy nutrition label accordingly.
OrthoK Planner is available globally and is localized in English, Simplified Chinese, and Korean. Because the App does not collect or transmit any data, there are no cross-border data transfers and no region-specific privacy considerations beyond what is described in this policy. Where local law (GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, etc.) grants you additional rights with respect to personal data, those rights are effectively satisfied by the fact that we hold no personal data about you.

By installing and using OrthoK Planner, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
OrthoK Planner grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Standard End User License Agreement.
OrthoK Planner is a personal tracking and reminder tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. The App is intended to help parents log and organize information about their child's orthokeratology lens usage.

The cleaning checklist and symptom categories provided in the App are for informational tracking purposes only and do not replace professional medical guidance.
OrthoK Planner is free to use for 7 days from your first launch, with full access to every feature. After 7 days, you may purchase the full access unlock (USD 3.99) to continue logging new data. The purchase is one-time, non-consumable, non-recurring, and non-refundable except where required by law or by Apple's App Store refund policies. Existing data remains viewable and exportable even after the trial ends.
The App can generate PDF summary reports of your logged data. These reports are created entirely on your device and contain a disclaimer stating that the report is a record of user-entered data and does not constitute medical advice. You may share these reports with your child's eye care professional at your discretion.
The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the publisher of OrthoK Planner shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to damages for personal injury, property damage, loss of use, lost profits, or business interruption — arising from the use of, inability to use, or reliance on the App, its data, or its reports, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
You agree to use OrthoK Planner only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
